They will purchase a good looking, reliable -- 4 wheel drive car -- that handles well in bad weather. Has excellent pick up when changing lanes -- at a reasonable price. Overall, this is the seconds Subaru we purchased and have only good things to say about the car -- 1 minor exception -- the front seats. We would like to raise them, if needed. My husband is slightly handicapped and when he sits in the passenger seat, he has to put a pillow on it because it's too low.

It is a practical car with very little soul. The CVT transmission automatically engine brakes when there is no throttle, which then requires the application of more throttle to continue at the same speed (making it less fuel-efficient in the long run). The power is not linear at all, and you have to strategically depress the accelerator to get faster acceleration. The speakers have very little mid-range, and the bass is overpowering. The steering wheel controls are designed for phone calls/radio, and not Bluetooth audio (there's no pause button). The information area of the gauge cluster looks like it is from the mid 2000s. Switching songs while on Bluetooth, or while connected through USB, takes about three seconds between the button press and the song change. The reason I bought it is for the AWD system, which I have yet to really test, but it feels very planted.

The doors don't sound "rich." They should use more sound deaden-er. The gas tank door sounds "tinny." The ride could be smoother. The driver's seat should at least be powered. City gas mileage could be somewhat better.

I would add additional sound deadening to the doors, trunk door, and gas tank cover to give a more sturdy or expensive feel to the car.

On a long trip, the drivers seat is uncomfortable for me (long = over two hours).

I really enjoy this vehicle. There are extra features that I would not expect in this price range. I have had difficulty with the voice commands hearing me, even when speaking loud and clear. This feature doesn't get used because of it's lack of effectiveness. That is a big disappointment for me.

I wish that there was a bigger light or more central light in the trunk area.

Please make a normally aspirated (2.5 liter from Forester/Legacy) Impreza Sport "GT" type vehicle with the handling of a WRX with a manual transmission AND power moonroof.

Car has everything I want inside EXCEPT a comfortable, as in fully adjustable, seat. What the?

Love most everything about my new Impreza BUT the seats? Come on!!!!! Seriously. My 2006 Ram 2500 and Cadillac seats - full adjustability - SUPER comfortable. The ability to adjust the seat helps me drive more alert and therefore more safely. Why, why, why does my amazing new, quiet, pretty good AWD mileage have such a lousy drivers seat?

The car lacks power and the engine is rougher that I would expect. 4WD is a major selling feature. My wife likes the car more than I do. I hope that it will grow on me, but we have only had it for six months.

Gear shifting is difficult. Lots of interior noise at high speeds.
