Shifts very crisp and drives extremely smooth for an AWD four cylinder. I’m 6’2”. It was very hard to find a comfortable hatchback and Subaru has done a great job of just that with the Impreza.
cons
The base model is bare bones. It may be worth the value to go with the sport package.

The vehicle is loud. Not much insulation from the exterior. Weather mats could be deeper for holding water.
cons
Starlink app tells you you’re speeding if set up with Apple CarPlay. Ended up deleting the app because of it.

This vehicle is the perfect commuter car. It comfortable, I love the color (island blue) and love averaging 30 mpg on my hour long commutes. This is my second Subaru Impreza and I love it.
cons
The infotainment is a bit outdated and sluggish but it gets the job done.
